Outside of work…
I am passionate about the culinary arts. You can find me in the Kitchen most every weekend. I enjoy ethnic cooking….trying all my grandmother’s recipes to keep traditions and my heritage alive. I also enjoy spending time with my son Nick. He loves hot wings (as I do), so every Sunday is the hot wing challenge. We have collected well over 50 hot sauces, so each weekend is a fiery experience.

I also love the outdoors... primarily working in the garden. I enjoy travel (would love to go back to Europe in the near future) and am a die hard Browns fan (I continue to ask myself “why”?).

What you don’t know about me…
I originally wanted to become an Archeologist. Growing up, I spent much of my spare time hunting arrowheads. I have a collection of about 500 or so. I was (and still am) fascinated with ancient history. I have visited the ancient Mayan ruins in the Yucatan, the ancient temples in Greece and the Roman ruins in Pompeii. I would love to see the pyramids in Egypt one day…also a trip to Rome.

How I got my bragging rights…
I graduated from the University of Akron – Construction Management. After graduating, I first worked for PR Carbone Construction as project administrator for Hudson High School and Wooster High School before coming to SoL Harris/Day.

How I give back…
Against my home body nature, I have spent time working for Habitat for Humanity; participated in the United Way Day of Caring; and rang the bell for the Salvation Army.

Who molded me into the person I am…
I would say my father has been the biggest influence in my life. I have learned much from his business successes, as well as failures.

Architecture that inspires me…
I really don’t have a favorite. If I had to pick one, it would be ancient.
