Outside of Work...
Life outside of work is definitely centered around my family of “Three” and our two crazy cats and yellow lab, Cooper.  We call ourselves the “Three King’s” which is my wife Michelle, daughter Raigan and myself.  We own three acres of property near Smithville and just in the last couple of years have built a detached garage / apartment. We are currently completing our dream house which is a unique hybrid timber frame home.

My family enjoys the outdoors as much as possible when the Ohio weather allows.  Activities include biking, golf, hiking, camping, bird watching and spending time with friends and family around a fire pit in the evenings or weekends.  We also look forward to summer when we can go to the beach and enjoy the sun, sand and ocean.

What you don’t know about me…
I love sports and am dedicated to my local professional teams: Indians, Cavs and Browns (even though they have done nothing since 1999). I was able to get away from the office to watch the Cavs Championship Parade in 2016 which will be one of my top lifetime memories. I also designed my new house and performed the plumbing, electric, stone veneer, rough carpentry, finish carpentry and concrete work.

How I give back...
I am heavily involved in church activities, Wooster Rotary and Akron / Canton CSI as a Board Member.

Who molded me into the person I am…
I would have to say my Dad. He was a master mason for over 40 years and I gained hands on construction knowledge from him.

Architecture that inspires me…
I have not had the opportunity to travel to Europe to see amazing historic Architecture, but my family had the opportunity to visit the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, North Carolina.  I was more interested in all the intricate details of the Chateauesque / French Renaissance style estate that Richard Morris Hunt designed and more how the artisans / contractors built this amazing home back in the late 1800’s with no modern tools of today.
