Heather Keogh

Administrative Assistant
Outside of work…
My husband, Ken, and I have a daughter, Mekenzie, that is my mini-me. I love spending time with family – “Family Fun Fridays” are a blast!  Before we moved back to Ohio in 2003 to be close to family, we lived in Minnesota for 8 years. We love the snow and pray for more quite often (only during the winter months).

My second home is my church… Ken and I serve as the Jr High Leaders and I am also on the worship team.

What you don’t know about me…
I love winter, I HATE spiders, I love to work out and I am an avid coffee connoisseur!
My favorite time of the year is Marching Band Season! It’s so exciting going to the games to watch my daughter play in the GlenOak High School Marching Band – after all it’s all about the half-time show!

How I got my bragging rights…
What better way to learn than on-the-job and through co-workers and my environment. I am a very determined person and, given a little time, will master any task I am given.

How I give back…
I am very involved at church with youth ministries, worship team, small groups and just being a servant. I also chaperone different activities for the GOHS Marching Band as well as volunteer during the week of uniform fittings where I have found that me, a needle and thread do not get along.

Who molded me into the person I am…
First is my relationship and faith in Jesus Christ, second is my grandmother who lived out her faith and led me to Christ (I wouldn’t be where I am today without her); and then my husband and daughter who inspire me every day to be a better wife, mother, friend and mentor.

Architecture that inspires me…
I really don’t have any specific structure that inspires me other than the fact that it’s all about the details coming together to form something spectacular.
