MVNU Expands Presence in Downtown Mount Vernon

Tuesday, May 30, 2017
Mount Vernon Nazarene University is repurposing another Downtown building, this time for their Department of Engineering. After the Ariel Foundation generously gifted the existing building on Main Street to the University, MVNU is working with SHD on plans for interior and exterior renovations. The first floor will be occupied as a partnership with KnoxLabs and provide Makerspace facilities. The remaining floors above will be the new home for the Department of Engineering which will include classrooms, labs, project spaces, study and lounge areas and faculty offices. Look for construction to begin during the summer of 2017.
